Book 10

We have been sailing for DAYS. Finally we hit land, Aiolos island, home to the wind god, Aiolos. We stayed here and while dawn came with fingertips of rose, we set off with gift from Aiolos. The gift he gave us was a test, inside of the sac were tourrential storms, and of course my men could not resist the temptation like I can, because I have TOTAL self control, they opened the bag and released all hell. There were hurricanes and storms like no other. We reached land once again and guess where we were! AIOLOS ISLAND. But this time Aiolos set us free and gave us wind to sail with.
The second island we came to was Aiaia island, home to Kirke. She is known to set charms on men and mine were stupid enough to fall for it. They were thrown in a pig stye and locked up. Hermes came to me and advised me to go back, he told me how to change back my men and that I should let Kirke do as she pleases with me... Im not going to argue with that one. This is all for my men.

Book 9

Adventures, yes I Odysseus have lived through many adventures and crazy situations which even I cant believe I have survived. Like that one time my crew and I were on this island with all of the sick nasty Kyklopses. We were totally stranded in one of their caves for like a day or two, but of course, being ME, the almighty Odysseus, I got us out of there. We only lost like five men? ANYWAYS thats what I wanted to tell you guys about. So we were looking in this cave that was occupied by a hearder Kyklopse. He locked us in with this huge boulder and none of us mini men could push it away, not even me. But I had this great idea to make a wooden steak to stab out this monster's only eye, it was a rocking plan. When the Kyklopse came home we gave him wine and he was totally wasted and started asking me questions, when he asked me my name I tricked him into thinking it was Nohbdy. Then we struck and Jabbed out his eye! He was screaming like a baby "Nohbdy, Nohbdy's tricked me, Nohbdy's ruined me!" he yelled to his friends who were like okay... So thats how I once again SAVED us all. Usually, the warriors, like me, save the day. I am good aren't I.

My next few days here on the island were VERY eventful. King Alkinoos and his counselors decided they would provide me with a ship to sail my way, and then we had a feast. At this feast I became very very upset when there was talk of the quarrel of Achilles and I. That was such a low moment and I began to weep at the memories. Alkinoos noticed my pain and began the festivities. I was challenged at throwing the discus, and come on, how could I not win? So i challenged anyone who wanted to play me at any game of their choice. After all of the fun and games were over, Alkinoos presented me gifts to take along on my journey.

She helped me build a raft and set off within six days. But things got a little rough on the seas, as Posiden, the earthquake god set out storms and waves my way. Finally Zeus helped me see land and I came up to sharp rocks. But it is almost impossible to get on the island because furious Posiden will cool it with the waves! "I know how he who makes earth tremble hates me." I said and it was one hundred percent true.

Book 4

Hello, Telemakhos here reporting for my long lost father, once again, I have journeyed on and have reached Menelaos's island. He invited me in open heartedly with no questions asked. He didn't even ask me who I was, but soon found out when I began to weep at his talk of my father. We began to tell stories of Odysseus's greatness like when he dressed as a beggar, and when he kept all of the men in the Trojan Horse silent as the tempting woman's voice was heard. Then Menelaos told tales of his venture home after the war and his encounters with nymphs. After we told our stories I decided it was time for me to take my buisness elsewhere and not be so burdensome. I told Menelaos that he coud not keep me any longer. Back at home my mother had just found out about my voyage and begand to cry. She felt like she had lost both men in her life and was determind to find out if my father was still alive. I believe that my father is alive and I plan to find him, but only a god knows whats really going on in life.

Book 3

I Telemakhos, am writing to you again due do my father's failure to return. We are about to begin our voyage when Lord Nestor invited us to bathe and sleep at his house for the night. He claimed that a son of Odysseus would never sleep on the deck of a ship while he was living. The lord held a large feast while my crew and i stayed, it was a sacrifice for the Goddess Athena who has helped us so much with preparing our treck to find Odysseus. For the feast, Lord Nestor sacrificed his heifer. She was un worked, and had never been yoked. Nestor called in a blacksmith who brought his anvil, tongs, and hammer to plate the heifer's horns in gold. Once I bathed and was all settled, the feast commenced and the heifer was sacrificed.

Book 2

This is Telemakhos once again here writing for my long lost father. I have decided to take Mente's idea and go look for my dad. I will need a crew and a ship that is quick and will get me where i need to go. I prayed to my god Athena who has responded to me saying she will help. I made a speech to the people of Ithaka. Athena, also known as Mentes morphed herself to look like me to gather a crew to sail our ship which was given to us by Noemon son of Phronios. I told a nurse in my home and she is the only one with knowledge of our voyage. I spoke to her and said to only tell my mother when she starts to worry and is afraid for me. Our voyage set off into the dawn of the next morning. The goddess Athena will help us and guide us to the right places as we set sail. Gods always know which way to go and are so strong which help whom ever they are protecting. I think that gods do always know what to do, this helps me so much with my quest to find my father.

Book 1

Hello everybody, Telemakhos here, sorry there haven't been any posts from my father in a while, he went to fight in the battle of Troy and we all know that he has won but has failed to return. Since my father is gone, now it is my job to find a new husband for my mother. Suitors have arrived here at my house looking for her hand in marrige, and things have gotten a little out of hand. I have made a friend, Mentes, son of the veteran Ankhialos. He is really nice and has been giving me advice on what to do about the suitors taking over my home. Gods always know what to do and always do the right thing. I wish I knew what to do about these men in my house. Mentes tells me that i need Odysseus, and he tells me that i need to make these men vanish. I do not know what to do about these men here but i am trying to take Mentes' idea and make the men go away. It is human nature to not know what to do in certian circumstances.
